Alliance Paradigm 5th Wheel RV

A working couple looking to go fulltime RVing is going to need big solar and enough batteries to stay powered in any conditions.

Powering a large 5th wheel such as this no small feat, but we gave it our best.  We went with 1800w of solar with 3x solar chargers for greater partial shade tolerance.  The more solar chargers we use, the better it will perform.

Solar System Goals

Work remotely with limited AC runtime and Starlink 24/7 .

Runs ost everything else without a generator.

Where to it all?

We put all the equipment neatly in the front storage bay.  Customer supplied the batteries and storage platform.  We ran all the wiring neatly in raceway for a clean look and stays functional and serviceable.

1800 Watts of Solar

We put 9x200w solar panels on the roof and kept the existing 300w factory panel and existing solar charger.  Victron chargers can work in parallel with other chargers most of the time.

Cerbo GX Monitoring

The Cerbo GX Touch Screen monitor is the ultimate way to interact with your Victron solar system, providing real-time updates on your battery state of charge, inverter use, solar collection, and more. Its colorful tiles and intuitive animations make it easy to understand how your system is performing, giving you the confidence to worry less and enjoy your RV adventures even more.
