Shop Time , Rates & Pricing.

We aim to provide clear and accurate estimates for each project, based on years of experience and industry standards. Our goal is always to complete your project as efficiently as possible, delivering high-quality work while keeping costs fair.

Shop Rate

While our shop labor rate is $150 per hour, we believe the total project cost is what matters most to you. That’s why we focus on offering comprehensive project estimates, so you have a clear understanding of the overall cost without needing to worry about individual labor rates.

How We Estimate Your Project

Every project estimate is based on our expertise, industry guidelines, and the complexity of your specific job. This estimate represents the total cost to complete your project, including time, materials, and other considerations. While some jobs may take less time than anticipated, your final invoice will remain based on the original estimate—meaning no surprises, even if we finish faster than expected. We schedule based on our estimates and need to keep the lights on.

On the occasion a project takes longer due to unexpected challenges, we won’t adjust the invoice upward unless it’s an extreme circumstance or the scope of work changes. We strive to ensure the total project cost remains as quoted, regardless of minor variations in time spent.

When Adjustments May Be Necessary

There are certain situations where adjustments to the original estimate may be required. These include:

  • Scope Changes: If the project expands during the course of work—such as adding a new feature like a buddy plug or changing out a vent fan—this will fall outside the original scope and may result in additional costs. We’ll always communicate scope changes with you and document any adjustments before proceeding.
  • Time and Materials Basis: Some projects or parts of a project may be billed on a time-and-materials basis if the scope isn’t clearly defined from the outset. This allows flexibility for more complex or evolving projects where exact time and materials are harder to predict.

Our Commitment to Fair Pricing

Our focus is on delivering a total project cost that provides value and peace of mind. If we learn something new during a project that extends the time required, that’s on us, not you. We believe customers should only pay for the value they receive, not for the learning curve. By focusing on the total project cost, we ensure you understand the value of the service without worrying about hourly rates or surprises on your final invoice.
