Thor Outlaw Class A

When you want to have the comforts of 50 amp hooks form anywhere, you need to go big, and that's what this couple did.

The Power Bay

We upgraded this Thor outlaw Toy Hauler Class A coach from a single Multiplus and 500ah of Battle Born batteries to split phase Multiplus (2x) and 10 battle born batteries.

One particular challenge to this project was the high amperage draws of a 12v system using 2x Multiplus inverters. We went with a 2x battery bank design so each bank could be properly protected by a 400 amp fuse and 4/0 cabling all around.

If starting fresh in a system of this size we might recommend 24 or 48 volts, however this was an upgrade so utilizing what was there was most cost effective.

Rv Solar

On the solar side we upgraded them from 4x 175 watt panels on a single controller to 6x 215 watt panels on 2 additional controllers for a grand total of 1900 watts of solar!
